For an activity next week, we need about 10 empty cereal boxes.

If you happen to have any, we would love to have them in our class!  We are going to use them as we study synonyms.

You can just send them in with your child.

 If you are planning to order fall pictures, please turn them in as soon as possible.

Picture orders are due October 24th (next Monday)!

Is your child is interested in serving on the Student Council as a Classroom Representative? 

On Wednesday  (October 12th), our class will vote on 2 representatives.

If your child is interested, they should come to class with a few words to tell classmates why they would best represent our class.

We will vote Wednesday morning.

Student Council is a great opportunity to get involved in the Sequoyah community!

Please remember to bring a stick to school Monday!

We are doing an activity in science that requires 1 stick per child.

The stick should be about the length of your child's arm.

We will be testing Topic 2 on this upcoming week.

The assessment will be September 30th (Friday).

We will spend time reviewing in class on Wednesday and Thursday.

If you are looking to study over the weekend, you can practice some rounding and estimation, addition of 2 digit numbers, and the properties of addition.

Thanks to all the parents who came out for Parent Night last night!  It was great to see everybody.  I am so proud of all of your kids.  We have gotten the year off to a GREAT start.
